Restorative/Lavender Chill

GENTLE & BEGINNER

Restorative/Lavender Chill restorative yoga is one of our students’ favorite ways to end the day! Breathe deeply, lie back and our skilled instructors will take you on a journey of letting go.

No prior experience required; appropriate for prenatal clients. Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided.

Gentle Yoga

GENTLE & BEGINNER

Gentle Yoga is a slow and gentle practice that is perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to stretch and breathe in a calm environment. Props, blocks and blankets will be offered to help you get into and out of the poses.

No prior experience required; appropriate for prenatal clients.. Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided.

Movement, Meditation & Sound

GENTLE & BEGINNER

Movement and Meditation is class centered on energetic movement and alignment. You will practice meditation and breath techniques, moving mindfully with purpose and intention.

This class will teach you rituals and routines that create a deeper sense of mind, body and spiritual connectivity.

No prior experience required; appropriate for prenatal clients.. Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided.

 

Warm Yin Yoga

GENTLE & BEGINNER

Warm Yin Yoga targets the myofascial tissue through longer holds and deep breathing. Props like blocks, straps and blankets will be provided to foster a genuinely restorative experience.

No prior experience required. Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided.

Foundation and Form

GENTLE & BEGINNER

Balance and strength are the hallmark of this yoga class, in which various props will be used to help align and improve form over time. A class to work on balance and strength using props and sometimes wall support. 

Students will move slowly, building heat within through pranayama/breath work and more time spent exploring certain poses. Practice balancing and develop increased strength, all in one hour!

No prior experience necessary; appropriate for prenatal clients. Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided.

Slow Flow

YOGA FLOW

Slow Flow is a slower-paced, mindful flow that ends with meditative stretches/poses. Perfect for beginners and those seeking relief from tight shoulders, back, hips and more.

No prior experience required. Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided.

 

Slow Burn

YOGA FLOW

Slow Burn is a slower-paced flow practice that helps build strength, stamina and flexibility by holding standing and core postures.

Hot Inspire

YOGA FLOW

Hot Inspire is Yen Yoga & Fitness’s signature flow class that blends fun, inspiring music with sun salutations, balance poses and deep core work … all with the teachings from yoga woven in.

Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided. Prior experience recommended, but not required.

Power Flow

YOGA FLOW

Power Flow is a creative, playful take on yoga featuring robust sun salutations, innovative sequencing and inversions. If you love to go with the flow and occasionally fly, this is your class! Room is heated. Bring your own mat and towel; necessary props will be provided for you.

Barre (Inspired)

FITNESS & MOBILITY

Barre (Inspired) is a concise and thorough 45-minute class that focuses on small isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, large range motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates strength training and burn out blasts targeting the core, legs, glutes, arms, chest, and shoulders. It is a low-impact, muscular endurance workout that focuses on high repetitions and small, isometric movements.

Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided. Shoes optional. No prior experience necessary. No matter what your current level of fitness is, we will offer total body strength and muscle sculpting variations for all levels.

Body Sculpt & Stretch

FITNESS & MOBILITY

Body Sculpt & Stretch builds long, lean muscles through a challenging and innovative sequence of core training, isometrics and resistance work. After your workout, targeted stretches will leave you feeling inspired and ready to take on the day.

Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided. Shoes optional. No prior experience necessary. No matter what your current level of fitness is, we will offer total body strength and muscle sculpting variations for all levels.

Empower Core & Strength

FITNESS & MOBILITY

Move well, get strong and live empowered! This fun fitness class is designed for your body and its abilities. Each move is timed so you can work out at your own pace.
Students use light weights and body weight to strengthen from head to toe. All sessions end with a calming cool down, leaving you totally empowered for whatever life brings you next.

Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided. Shoes optional. No prior experience necessary. No matter what your current level of fitness is, we will offer total body strength and muscle sculpting variations for all levels.

 

Mobility

FITNESS & MOBILITY

Is an amazing class that incorporates flexibility and strength around each joint to maintain and improve your body’s natural range of motion. In this unique class based on Dr. Andreo Spina’s Functional Range Conditioning program, you will move your body in a new, highly effective way.

Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided. Shoes not required. No prior experience necessary. No matter what your current level of fitness is, we will offer variations.

Yoga Sculpt

FITNESS & MOBILITY

Condition your body and build long, lean muscles through a challenging and innovative sequence of exercises blending intervals of core training, yoga, isometrics and resistance work. This class involves the optional use of weights. 

Please bring a yoga mat, and water if desired. Necessary props will be provided. Shoes not required. No prior experience necessary. No matter what your current level of fitness is, we will offer total body strength and muscle sculpting variations for all levels.

Community Sangha

A sangha is a community that gathers to share their joys and difficulties and to encourage each other on the path of practice. Each week, come and move, breathe, meditate and foster community. lululemon will provide mats and blocks for each student, quarterly raffle classes and surprises to delight all students.

Enjoy Pure Michigan summer each week with Yoga on the beach! You will experience a blend of the calming ambiance of the water with the peacefulness of yoga. With each stretch, you'll find balance, relaxation, and a deeper connection to nature.

Yoga on the Discovery

OUTDOOR & OFFSITE EXCLUSIVE EVENT

Have a unique yoga experience aboard the majestic Discovery on West Bay. Engage in a dockside mindful flow suitable for all levels, fostering connection with mind, body, breath, and the surrounding natural beauty on the ship's deck, offering breathtaking bay views and downtown Traverse City.

There is a covered area in case of rain. Please bring your own mat, sunscreen, sunglasses, or any other comforts you desire. After the session, unwind with complimentary coffee and tea. Space is limited to 18.
